About the Author
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam: The former President of India and one of the most celebrated scientists in independent India, A.P.J Abdul Kalam was also a prolific writer who authored numerous books including India 2020: A Vision For The New Millennium and Unleashing the Power Within India, among many others. He was also a part of DRDOs Aeronautical Development Establishment and was a lead scientist in India’s nuclear weapons development program that included conducting of the underground Pokhran II tests.
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is one of India’s most distinguished scientists, responsible for the development of India’s first satellite launch vehicle and the operationalization of strategic missiles. He also pioneered India Vision 2020, a road map for transforming India.
